Fitness Excellence Equals Mass X Acceleration

Sir Isaac Newton’s law states that the force equals the product of mass and acceleration. In fact, our fitness excellence also is determined by the muscular force requirements to accelerate our body mass. On this basis, our fitness equation will be ‘Fitness Excellence Equals Mass x Acceleration’.

“We would be perfect if we can soon regain the serenity we possessed on our first day on Earth and, don’t soon acquire the physical capabilities that we would possess (on death bed) on our last day on Earth”. Based on this quote, fitness excellence and healthy longevity can be obtained with mental balance and well trained neuromuscular systems through exercise. In the modern life style, the scopes for exposing the neuromuscular systems to maximum gravitational torques are limited. For example, usage of beds limits exposure to getting up from the floor, in which important deep hip and knee flexion do not occur. Similarly, western closets limit exposure to deep squat, thus people leading prolonged sedentary life style may not have enough Quadriceps flexibility and may not be able to Squat properly during exercise performance. Inflexible tissues can limit acceleration against gravity or to counteract gravity.

All health abnormalities affect the body mass, body composition and muscular strength levels. Thus, our health excellence revolves around fitness excellence. Musculoskeletal biomechanics has revealed that most movements are innately mechanically disadvantageous with effort arm smaller than the resistance arm. Still, this mechanical disadvantage is beneficial to develop muscular strength as there is a constant demand to produce more force to wield the larger resistance arms. To make it more beneficial, regular strength training techniques with periodical progression in the resistance can be of great help.

To optimize body composition and attain an ideal body mass, improving exercise tolerance is crucial to maximize muscular strength and power. As the ability to accelerate our own body increases with different formats and levels of fitness training, there may be plenty of scopes to optimize body composition associated with fat loss. This concept must be strongly inculcated in the minds of clients seeking support from the fitness specialist because the usual approach focuses only on body mass.

There are obese individuals who can take more 5 seconds to get up from the floor (from lying position to standing position) where as fit individuals take equal to or less than 2 seconds to do this task. This is an example that shows the importance of essential strength to accelerate the body against gravity to do very basic movements. People with average fitness levels have been demonstrating standing jump distance that is equal to their own total height. This is another example that shows the importance of improved strength to accelerate the body against gravity to advanced movements. So, while the emphasis should be retention or regaining strength to accelerate our own body mass to basic functional movements, on the other end the body should be prepared to do advanced movements (a) accelerate with better speed – Run, Jump, Throw etc (b) accelerate progressive external loads – Dumbbells, Barbells, Medicine balls etc. As long as the athletic potential is maintained, the exercising individual can maintain excellent anti-gravity strength that is the key determinant of fitness excellence.

Discover 6 Foods Good for Skin Health

So you’ve got your bottle of NeriumAD and you’ve used it for a few days (you did get your NeriumAD, didn’t you?), and now you want to know how your diet can affect your skin’s health and appearance.

I’m about to show the secret to having healthy, younger looking skin, that’s also amazing for your heart, brain and memory, as well as other inflammation related discomforts!

Another benefit, these foods good for skin are easy to combine into delicious recipes, and they’re available at your local grocery store!

Foods Good for Skin

#1 – Water

Easily the most overlooked ingredient for excellent skin health is water. At the most basic level, your skin is an organ made up of cells. Dehydrated cells malfunction in numerous ways. In skin, this manifests itself as tight, dry, flaky skin. Dry skin is thinner, cuts easier, and is more prone to wrinkles. That said, skin is the last organ to hydrate. It is highly unlikely that you can hyper-hydrate skin by drinking water, but you most certainly can prevent dehydration

Water is also an excellent detoxifier. It helps to shuttle waste from the body. Metabolic wastes in the blood can lead to all kinds of skin irritations and rashes, primarily acne.

#2 – Salmon

In fact, salmon is one of the best natural sources of Omega 3 fatty acids, and access to wild caught salmon is available at just about every decent grocery store. Omega-3 fatty acids are powerful anti-inflammatory, which will help you with inflammatory related discomforts such as knee, elbow, and other tendonitis related pains.

In terms of skin, omega-3’s reduce redness, unclog pores, and avert developing lines and wrinkles![1. Boelsma E, Hendriks HF. Roza L. Nutritional skin care: health effects of micronutrients and fatty acids. Am J Clin Nutr. 2001;73(5):853-864.]

EPA, an omega-3 fatty acid, has protective effects against the sun. It can also slows production of androgen hormones which result in oily skin!

#3 – Avocado

Avacados are a plant source of Omega-3 fats. Also, avocados have the highest natural vitamin E content of any fruit. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that counteracts free radicals. This anti-oxidant effects is helpful in decelerating the signs and symptoms of aging. [2. Erratum to: Polyhydroxylated fatty alcohols derived from avocado suppress inflammatory response and provide non-sunscreen protection against UV-induced damage in skin cells]

Avocado oil is a fantastic skin barrier, and natural emollient. This means it helps your skin retain water for more soft, supple tissue. You can use Avocado oil in the morning as a fantastic natural moisturizer.

Want to supplement your NeriumAD during the day? Avocado’s are high in a substance called sterolins. Sterolins help the body produce more skin collagen, and helps reduce age spots!

#4 – Whey Protein

Sorry vegetarians, but only whey protein has Lactoferrin, a potent Acne fighter. In one study, participants who consumed a quality whey protein isolate (not hydrolysate) for 12 weeks showed an average 20% improvement in acne vulgaris.

Whey protein is also alkaline. Why is this important? Science has proven that cancer can’t live in an alkaline environment. Humans with cancer always have acidic blood (lower than 7 ph). Ideally, you should aim to have a ph that is slightly alkaline (7.4). Eating foods that are alkaline in PH are able to increase brain function, and increase the amount of energy taken from food. In terms of skin health, acidic blood causes significant cellular degeneration which accelerates the process of aging!

#5 – Kiwi

Kiwi is the unsung hero among fruits which are good for your skin. That is because pound for pound, kiwi has the highest Vitamin C content of just about any fruit. Vitamin C is a potent collagen stimulus in the skin, keeping the skin firm and supple.

Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant, which neutralizes free radicals and reverses DNA damage.

Vitamin C has also reduces UV-B induced sunburns.

Other foods high in vitamin c are strawberries, cherries, citrus fruits, bell peppers, brussel sprouts, kale, and broccoli.

#6 – Carrots

Carrots, and other brightly colored vegetables contain an antioxidant called beta carotene. Beta carotene is converted into Vitamin-A in the body. When combined with the phytonutrients in carrots, Vitamin-A helps repair skin tissue.

Vitamin-A also protects the skin against UV-A rays, another skin burning aspect of sun exposure. [3. Bayerl Ch. Beta-carotene in dermatology: Does it help?Acta Dermatovenerol Alp Panonica Adriat. 2008;17(4):160-2.]

Vitamin A deficiency causes premature wrinkling, acne, and dry skin, particularly on the extremities.

A Complete Recipe for Good Skin Health

Let’s recap the 6 foods above, and why they represent a holistic approach to skin health:

First, we addressed hydration and fluid intake. While drinking water may not directly improve your skins health and appearance, there is no question dehydration will have profoundly negative impacts on your overall health and appearance.

Second, we talked about reducing inflammation by balancing your fatty acid profile by adding excellent sources of Omega-3 fatty acids. By ingesting plenty of healthy fats, your skin tone, and elasticity, do improve.

Third, we learned the importance getting your body out of acidosis, and into an alkaline PH. Acidosis causes more rapid cellular break down, and leaves you prone to allergens.

Fourth, we talked about the power of antioxidants to help reduce the negative effects of ultra violet radiation (sun exposure to the skin). The antioxidant Vitamin-C increases collagen produciton in the skin.

By combining these strategies with your daily use of NeriumAD, you are harnessing the most powerful arsenal against anti-aging! So order your NeriumAD now, and get to the grocery store!

Sexual Health for Men and Women: An Excellent Supplement for Consideration

There are a myriad of notions nowadays relative to what constitutes vibrant Sexual Health for men and women. An accurate understanding can only be gained through a fundamental understanding of biochemistry. While there are obvious differences in hormone makeup, every man and every woman requires proper daily nutrition to maintain the delicate balance of all biological functions.

In our modern society, there exist very serious deterrents to health in general. For example, an unprecedented incidence of free radical damage to the cells of our body. Also, contemporary farming techniques produce food seriously lacking in the trace elements necessary for proper daily nutrition (not only for humans, but also the animals we consume in our diet). These farming techniques also employ pesticides in their processes. The use of hormones and antibiotics in livestock processed for human consumption is another devastating factor for careful consideration.

There are locations in the world where cancer and ED (Erectile Dysfunction) are virtually unheard of and one of these places is the high mountain valley of Hunza, which is situated north of the Hunza River in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan. The primary reason the people of Hunza routinely live to be centurions, is a properly functioning immune system. Several factors contribute to such robust stability; the anomalous properties of the water (alkaline and ionized glacier water), pure air, lack of free radical damage, little or no stress, proper nutrition and hard work.

The substantial incidence of diseases such as cancer and ED is an alarming reality for those members of Industrialized Societies. I believe the proliferation of these diseases results from free radical damage and the breakdown in immune system function. This weakness is caused, not only by the deterrents to overall health mentioned previously, but also the absence of those factors existent in environments such as Hunza.

There is no shortcut to good health. It is achieved and maintained through a process widely know as Diet and Exercise. To succeed, proper diet must become as much a way of life as sufficient exercise. A diet which will provide the desired results must include high quality nutritional supplements. There are several to choose from, so be careful! Fake Vitamins (those manufactured in a laboratory) actually do more harm than good. These so-called vitamins are incomplete forms and when ingested, are recognized by the body almost as if they were poison. Consequently, the body leaches minerals from bones and amino acids from muscles to complete these foreign elements. Vitamin and mineral supplements produced from natural sources are essential to good health.

In your quest to become properly nourished, your supplemental regimen should consist of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, probiotics, protein (for athletes and those involved in strength training), and herbs. It is easy to get carried-away once you begin supplementing, yet there are a few nutrients which must supplement our diet daily if we are to maintain a properly nourished condition. Since this article is about Sexual Health, we will start with some of those supplements which have passed my scientific tests for effectiveness and quality. My next article will include a more comprehensive breakdown of the basic supplements necessary to maintain a healthy diet.

For men, testosterone is the hormone of greatest concern as we age. From the time a man is in his mid to late 20’s, his natural production of testosterone begins to diminish. Testosterone is systemically essential and not simply the force behind a man’s sexual power. Free testosterone is necessary for several other biological functions such as, protecting your brain against memory loss, enhancing immune system function, maintaining strong bones and muscles, mood, heart health and more. Since testosterone is so significant, we will discuss it more comprehensively next time.

The supplementation of zinc is an excellent starting point and one which produces almost immediate results. Caution is necessary though, as excessive zinc intake interferes with the assimilation of copper. The trace element zinc plays a big part in normal growth and wound healing, development of the reproductive organs and proper functioning of the prostate. The building blocks of DNA and RNA are proteins and nucleic acids. Zinc is essential to the manufacturing of proteins and nucleic acids.

Natural sources of high quality zinc are always the most effective and one of least known, yet most studied is the little oyster. Yes that’s right; oysters have been consumed for centuries, because of their ability to produce increased libido, bigger and stronger erections and better sexual health. Oyster consumption is equally effective for both men and women, so enhance your sex life even more by sharing with your partner to increase and develop both of your sexual desire, vitality and endurance!
